Bryant Dawson is the 2012 Las Vegas Ignite Fuels Midget USAC CHANPION. Bryant had to have a couple of good runs heading into the last two weekends to hold off a hard charging Michael Fanelli who won the last couple of races to make it that much more exciting. Bryant did what he needed to do so that he could walk away the 2012 Champion!

Bryant Dawson Heads West for “Gerhardt Classic”
Bryant Dawson has earned National honors winning 3 championships in the USAC .25 Midget Series. This weekend, he heads out west to make his debut in the USAC Western Ford Focus Series during the “Gerhardt Classic” at Madera.
“It’s pretty exciting to be in the Focus this weekend,” said Bryant Dawson. “We had a practice session there a couple of weeks ago and I am getting more and more comfortable in the car.”
“We’ve always loved Madera,” said Jeff Clark. “We’ve raced at the quarter-midget track for over 5 years. After our races, we would always head over to watch the action at the big track. “
Dawson ran a couple of races last season at the Indianapolis Speedrome as he was still in the championship hunt with the .25 Midget Series. “That was so much fun,” said Bryant.
Dawson will be in the black #99, Beast Midget and will be running with the Kevin Gerhardt - Western Speed Team.
Practice Friday will be from 5 - 8 pm. Practice on Saturday begins at 2:00 with main events beginning at 6 pm.
